Benefits of cedarwood oil
Dear community,
Cedarwood essential oil is deeply grounding, stimulates the pineal gland, which releases melatonin, combats hair loss, soothing for the skin, is antibacterial, and is a lymphatic stimulant. Dr. Terry Friedman found in clinical tests that this oil may treat ADD and ADHD in children.
How to use:
Diffuse it to ground and calm
Apply neat on pads of big toes before bed to release melatonin
Apply to skin neat for small areas and with a carrier oil for larger areas (to treat acne and eczema)
Add to YL Mirah hair oil or olive oil and massage into the roots of hair and comb through for a leave-in hair mask and wash out the next day.
Fun facts:
Throughout antiquity, cedarwood has been used in medicines.
The Egyptians used it for embalming the dead
It was used both as traditional medicine and incense in Tibet
