What’s so good about Peppermint oil and how I use it
Peppermint is a healthy swap to Panadol. Apply topically to support headaches, fevers and to lower body temperature. Diute on the bodies of children and apply neat on soles of their feet.
Add to food (hello peppermint infused raw dark chocolate and choc mint carob bears), and drinks (in hot chocolate and choc mint frappes with coconut water) and in hot water as a peppermint tea instead of tea bags.
Use as a fly and insect repellent (add a few drops to a spray bottle with purification oil make a natural bug spray). Add a few drops to indoor and outdoor bins and kitchen benches to keep flies away especially when cooking. Add a few drops on the floors around the house to keep away cockroaches and other pests.
Diffuse, apply topically (e.g. temples and back of head) and ingest to boost concentration, focus and mental clarity
Instantly wakes you up (add a drop on back of hand and lick it for a PepperLick instant pick me up) so it’s a healthy swap to caffeine and great to diffuse in the Wanderful portable diffuser when driving. Best not to diffuse at night before bed as it might keep you away.
Used as a digestive aid and to curb sugar cravings and appetite.
Peppermint oil is a driving oil meaning that it pushes the other oils in further e.g. apply cypress oil on legs for circulation then bookend with peppermint oil.
